The Long Trip
So on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM, 14 students and 2 professors loaded a people mover that was going to take us to the Rapid City Airport. As of 10:00 AM we still didn't know if we were even going to fly out, because of the snow. We arrived in Rapid City and had ourselves a nice long wait. We original flight was supposed to leave at 4:00 PM but we ended up not flying out until 6:30 PM, and we were only the third flight in two days! We made it to Minneapolis and had a chance to grab a bite to eat before we loaded our long flight to London. 7 hours after the plane took off in Minneapolis we landed in London! So incase you were still wondering....I AM OFFICIALLY IN LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep checking my blog to keep up on my trip!!!!

ReplyDeleteThe flights though are a story within themselves. It was crazy how much snow we were getting in Chadron. I was pretty worried just like everyone else that we were not going to make it out of there. Also, I am scared of flying so the conditions only scared me more to get on the plane. London has been so amazing that words cannot describe it all! The group we have been traveling with has been completely amazing! Now lets hope that by the time we are suppose to leave London that the weather conditions does not consist of snow! Happy London!
